Testimonials

We purchased a Mid-Century Fixer seven years ago with the intent of updating it when free time and budget allowed. A trusted friend recommended DTC Builders, and they have turned out to be the perfect solution for us. DTC Builders has always worked us into their busy schedule each time we needed them to start work on a new phase of remodeling, and they are willing to work within our budget.

To date, five phases of the remodel have been completed:

• Removing a worn-out, very large, single pane sliding glass door, and replacing it with a gorgeous wood trimmed double pane sliding door.

• Constructing a large, raised Trex Deck over the old existing concrete patio and adding a marvelous Douglas Fir Pergola.

• Building a brand new Garden Shed from top to bottom, with emphasis on design, practical use, and added value to our property.

• Deconstructing the old Master Bathroom and creating a new environment that is warm and functional, including new water pipes and plumbing, a modern vanity with lights, overhead lights and heated floor.

• Gutting the old Kitchen and opening it up by removing pocket doors to create an open space that flows into the dining room. The old cabinets, drywall, and linoleum floor were removed. Multiple minor repairs to the infrastructures and complete upgrades to the plumbing and electrical systems were completed. New modern cabinets, flooring, and appliances were installed, and we love it!

We have been involved in numerous remodel and construction projects through the years, and we can genuinely say Dan Trebe has been the best contractor we’ve ever had. He directed a whole-house remodel of our newly purchased, sadly neglected home and turned it into a dream home, on time and on budget. His penchant for perfection and creative design solutions were much appreciated, as was his professionalism. We were so pleased that when we decided to tweak the house again with an additional third bathroom, we immediately called Dan to put us on his schedule. We trust Dan and his team to the extent that we had no problem having them work in our home even during our frequent absences. After referring DTC Builders to friends and neighbors, we are pleased to have them in our neighborhood again, directing a major remodel on a friend’s home.

I hired Dan for an extensive kitchen and living room renovation. Dan was tremendous in every way possible….Excellent workmanship, always punctual and dependable, detailed and accurate budget accounting, a responsible cadre of sub-contractors, always mindful of the calendar and kept the project moving. I could not be any happier with the process and the final result.
